Start by considering the most likely spill volume you will face. Our smallest Oil-Only Spill Kit can absorb up to 20 litres of oils, fuels and flammable liquids – perfect for storing in trucks and heavy vehicles for an emergency spill kit on the road. Our large portable oil spill kits on wheels can absorb up to a massive 660 litres of liquid. And for something in the middle, choose a 240 litre oil spill kit. Large oil mobile spill kits are designed to make it easy to transport the kit and respond quickly in an emergency.
Small oil spill kits include the items needed to manage oil spills of around 20-38 litres, depending on the kit. They typically contain Oil-Only Socks to stop spills spreading and Oil-Only Mats to quickly absorb oil-based liquids – but not water. They come in a handy carry bag for easy storage and transportation.
Large oil spill kits can absorb from 220 litres to 660 litres, depending on the kit. The larger oil spill kits come in a handy wheelie bin or on wheels, ensuring contents stay clean, dry and ready for use. For example, our 240 litre oil spills contain PIG Oil-Only Pillows to absorb the bulk of the liquid, PIG Oil-Only Socks to absorb and stop oil from spreading, and Oil-Only Mat Pads to absorb and clean up residue. The kit comes packaged in a container with a tamperproof hinged lid and large label for quick and accurate identification.
