Drum Spill Pallets

Minimise costs and risks associated with accidental spills, drips and leaks. Stop spills in their tracks with our range of drum spill pallets and decks. If you’re storing drums of hazardous liquids, oils or chemicals at your facility, you need a drum containment pallet or deck to catch liquids before they do any damage or expose you to penalties.

When compliance is a must, choose from our wide range of drum spill pallets with larger sumps. Designed for easy use and transportation, each pallet is specially constructed from polyethylene to support heavy loads and withstand a wide range of chemicals and liquids. Store one drum safely with our one drum spill containment pallet, which holds one 55-gallon drum with 61-gallon sump capacity. Double up with the two drum spill containment pallet with 66-gallon sump capacity. Or go big with multiple drum containers. We also offer cost-effective drum pallets made from recycled content.

Need spill containment for smaller containers or non-hazardous waste? Check out our range of Spill Decks. Each deck is supplied as a wide one-piece design ready to store drums without the labour and expense of connecting multiple products. We stock the strongest standard drip deck you can buy for everyday drum storage – strong enough for long-term storage of fully loaded drums.

Always check the load capacity and sump capacity of the drum spill containment pallet before you buy. Contact our expert team for advice.

Provide an additional layer of protection for damaged or leaky drums during transport.

Build your required sump capacity with connectable, shared-sump decks and meet containment regulations.

FAQ about our Drum Spill Pallet

What is a drum spill pallet?

A drum spill pallet is a secondary containment solution – a backup structure capable of containing a volume of liquid should the primary container fail. It’s designed to be placed underneath drums and is ideal for when storage space is limited. Because drum spill pallets are forklifted into place, they are better suited to those containers that are not loaded or unloaded frequently.

What is a drum spill deck?

Drum spill decks do the same job as a drum spill pallet (catch spills, leaks and drips), but are better suited for housekeeping purposes rather than long-term spill containment. They have a low-profile design which is better suited to frequent loading and unloading. You can also link multiple units together to achieve the regulated sump capacity.

Are there any liquids that I cannot use a drum spill pallet for?

There’s a huge range of liquids that can be stored in drums, which is why we offer different drum spill containment solutions for different applications. Most of our drum spill containment pallets are made of low-density polyethylene (LDPE) which resists UV rays, rust, corrosion and most chemicals. For highly corrosive chemicals, check out our range of steel drum pallets.

Which size of spill pallet should I buy?

Whether you’re considering a one drum containment pallet or something bigger, start by working out the required sump capacity. This is the volume of liquid that can be held in the collection area of a spill pallet or deck. Secondary containment units must contain 10% of the total volume of all containers or 100% of the largest container, whichever is the greater value. For example, if you want to store two 200-litre drums on a two drum spill pallet, the total volume is 400 litres. Therefore, you need a sump capacity of 10% of 400 litres i.e. 40 litres OR 100% of the largest container i.e. 200 litres.
